“He really resembles George.”

 He takes after his father.

Your friend recently had a baby, and she's showing you pictures of him. You think the baby looks like his father, so you tell your friend:

He really resembles George.

(someone) resembles (someone)

To "resemble" someone means to look like them.

You can resemble a family member, or someone that you don't even know.

People often talk about what celebrities people resemble:

Everyone tells me I resemble Robert DeNiro.
