The PhraseMix Method

This is how I suggest using the audio lessons on PhraseMix to improve your English skill:

1. Read the lesson. Start with the situation. Try to imagine yourself in that situation. Then read the example sentence.
2. Read the explanation. The goal is not to understand everything about the sentence; it's just to understand what it means and why the speaker used those words and phrases.
3. Listen to the example sentence and practice pronouncing it carefully. Think of it as a 
4. Keep listening. Listen 20 or 30 times, until you remember every word. There's a "repeat" button on the audio player that will help you with that. Leave the page, come back the next day, and listen some more.
5. Now this sentence is yours. You'll start to see and hear it everywhere when you're reading or speaking. Soon you'll start to use parts of the sentence in your own speaking and writing.
